Job description

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual high-quality, evidence-based mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to K-12 students
  • Diagnose, conduct initial mental health intake assessments, and create individual treatment plans
  • Conduct clinical screeners and ongoing assessments of student progress
  • Collaborate with the care management team to ensure successful transitions into services
  • Obtain credentialing and additional clinical state licenses as requested
  • Participate in clinical team trainings and meetings
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation adhering to established guidelines
  • Maintain required weekly availability and productivity levels
  • Provide consultative telehealth crisis support as assigned

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted license to practice independently without supervision
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children
  • Ability to obtain an acceptable FBI Criminal Background check
  • Working knowledge of diagnosis, assessment practices, and treatment strategies for children
  • Strong technological skills for digital documentation and software use
  • Ability to work in a private space free from others to ensure confidentiality
  • Willingness to undergo the credentialing process and gain licensure in other states

Preferred Qualifications

  • Telehealth experience
  • Bilingual fluency (Spanish, Mandarin, Armenian, Russian, Korean, or Tagalog)
