About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for managers and employees on policy, performance, and growth
- Coach managers on feedback, documentation, performance and termination situations
- Run leaves (FMLA, ADA, state, STD, parental) and accommodation requests end to end
- Own payroll accuracy across HQ, field, and international teams
- Own benefits administration, enrollments, COBRA, and carrier coordination
- Own onboarding and offboarding, including final pay and access
- Keep employee data clean for comp, survey, and headcount decisions
- Turn repeat work into AI-supported workflows
Requirements
- 5+ years scaling HR support, ideally coordinator to HRBP to HR Generalist
- Hands-on payroll administration experience
- Leaves and workers' comp administration end to end
- Benefits administration including qualifying life events and open enrollment
- Employee relations and manager coaching experience
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, E-Verify, and multi-state leave and final pay laws
Preferred Qualifications
- Payroll or HRIS migration or acquisition integration experience
- Paylocity experience
