About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, review, and institutional alignment of faculty-related policies including tenure, promotion, and governance
- Conduct comprehensive audits of existing faculty policies to identify inconsistencies or redundancies
- Perform benchmarking against peer institutions to inform policy design and updates
- Coordinate input from key stakeholders such as Deans, Provost, HR, and Research Office
- Develop structured presentations, briefing materials, and reports for leadership
- Draft communications regarding policy updates for faculty audiences
- Ensure alignment between policy frameworks and faculty lifecycle processes like orientation and career progression
Requirements
- Master's degree in public policy, higher education administration, law, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in faculty policy development, institutional research, or academic administration
- Proven experience in benchmarking and translating findings into structured outputs
- Strong analytical thinking and synthesis skills
- Experience in stakeholder coordination and executive-level communication
- Ability to translate ambiguity into structured outputs
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with working in higher education environments
- Experience with international organizations and multicultural environments
