About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain understanding of grantmaking focus areas and the role of data and AI
- Complete field sensing and landscape analyses on AI and data science developments
- Produce portfolio strategy retrospectives synthesizing outcomes and lessons from grants
- Conduct research and outreach to identify nonprofit partners aligned with strategy
- Prepare evidence-based recommendation materials to support funding decisions
- Identify collaboration and shared learning opportunities across grantees
- Summarize learnings from grant reports and external sources
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, business analysis, strategy, or investing
- Rapid learning and sound judgment
- Regular use of AI tools with sound judgment on verification
- Clear synthesis and structured written communication
- Relationship management with external stakeholders
- Commitment to equity and inclusion of underrepresented voices
