Portfolio Manager - Alternative Assets

Responsibilities

• Conduct investment due diligence on private asset managers and direct deals focused on private credit
• Monitor performance of underlying fund managers and direct real estate investments
• Maintain updated dashboards and performance summaries for internal use
• Coordinate with fund managers, legal counsel, and internal teams for execution
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to portfolio exposures, leverage, and liquidity
• Assist in the preparation of high-quality investment memos for Investment Committee approval
• Support governance processes including quarterly portfolio reviews and compliance protocols
• Support structuring of fund-of-funds vehicles and co-investment programs
• Ensure alignment on NAV reporting, capital account statements, and waterfall calculations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• CFA, CA, MBA, or CPA qualification
• 5-10 years of experience in private markets (direct/indirect deals, fund-of-funds, or transaction advisory)
• Prior work experience in Private Credit
• Strong exposure to due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and fund structuring
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and presentation skills
• Understanding of fund documentation, legal structures, and offshore tax structures
