About the role
Responsibilities
- Preparing and finalizing textile print files for production, including repeats, color setup, and technical specifications
- Scaling designs accurately across multiple sizes while maintaining design integrity and proportion
- Ensuring accuracy of layered files, including overlays, textures, and distressing elements
- Supporting color consistency across various production formats to ensure alignment from digital to physical output
- Reviewing and adjusting artwork based on samples and production feedback
- Managing and organizing files with strong version control, naming conventions, and calendar adherence
- Prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
- Identifying workflow efficiencies and contributing to process improvements
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of textile design or pre-production experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design or a related field
- Expert level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong experience working with layered files, overlays, textures, and distressing techniques
- Mac proficiency is required
- Exceptional organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
- Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in home and interior design textiles, specifically rug and carpet design
- Experience with textile-specific software such as NedGraphics/Texcelle or Pointcarré
- Familiarity with production workflows for home goods or soft goods in an e-commerce environment
