Primary School Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide qualified subject instruction for grades 1-4
• Assume classroom leadership responsibilities for grades 1-4
• Participate actively in subject groups and potentially take on subject leadership roles
• Lead extracurricular activities and working groups
• Plan and organize school trips, excursions, and special projects
• Assist in the organization and implementation of school events
• Contribute to the dynamic ongoing development of the school

Requirements

• Completed teaching degree (second state exam) specifically for primary school
• At least two years of professional teaching experience (or two years of continuous teacher training/referendariat)
• Experience in German as a foreign language (DaF) and language-sensitive instruction
• High level of intercultural sensitivity and ability to work in an international team
• Strong communication skills and empathy when working with children, parents, and colleagues
• Professionalism, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility
