Principal Lead, Enterprise Compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and delivery teams for compliance platforms (Fircosoft, Fenergo, SAS AML)
• Define and execute the compliance technology roadmap aligned to regulatory timelines
• Own platform architecture decisions and interoperability with core banking, risk and finance systems
• Drive modernization including cloud migration, API enablement and data lake integration
• Translate regulatory requirements into platform capabilities with Compliance stakeholders
• Ensure platform resilience, performance and audit readiness
• Promote AI/ML adoption in transaction monitoring, risk scoring and anomaly detection
• Establish governance frameworks, delivery scorecards and KPIs
• Maintain delivery roadmaps, capacity plans and budgeting; manage vendors and contracts

Requirements

• 15+ years overall experience, including 10+ years in banking
• Proven delivery of AML, KYC, sanctions and regulatory reporting platforms
• Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, conduct risk and surveillance technology
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
• Expertise designing secure, scalable, modular compliance platforms
• Familiarity with FATF, OFAC, GDPR and local central bank regulations
• Experience with compliance data models, case management and reporting tools
• Skilled in managing solution providers, system integrators and SaaS platforms
