Principal Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and backlog aligned with business strategy
• Communicate vision and roadmap to audiences up to senior executives of the Department of the Air Force
• Make timely, informed decisions on product features, scope and priorities
• Lead and influence a cross-functional team to execute against the product vision
• Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria and champion user-centered design
• Act as bridge between stakeholders and the development team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 7 years of product management experience
• Strong understanding of Agile and Lean Product Management
• Experience leading products from idea to market
• Experience with user-centered design and usability testing
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of US Air Force digital services trends
• Experience with user research and iterative feedback loops
• Experience designing or developing full-service applications
