About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement queries, documentation, registers, and filing systems
- Prepare purchase plans for equipment, services, and supplies
- Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services for Events
- Manage payment terms, negotiation, and optimization
- Plan and achieve supplier accreditation and service level management
- Coordinate annual overseas orders and maintain daily records
- Barcode assets and update asset registers
- Conduct annual stock asset takes
- Submit vendor accounts for timely payment
- Reconcile or resolve order discrepancies with suppliers
- Provide policy analysis and recommendations for purchasing and leasing
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Supervisory and management experience
- High attention to detail
