About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead VMCP operating model including policy, procedures, procurement technology and governance
- Manage execution of low-level spend commodities on behalf of ADIB departments
- Lead major vendor negotiations and present to senior stakeholders
- Identify and reduce risk across the supply chain
- Develop reporting on savings, risks and key metrics for senior management
- Own risk management strategies for strategic and critical vendors
- Ensure effective controls, KPIs and KRIs; liaise with Audit and ORM
- Manage budget monitoring and benefits realization
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years procurement experience
- Procurement operational experience
- Data analytics and reporting experience
- Customer management and engagement skills
- Excellent presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPS qualification (or working towards)
- Legal awareness (LLB) and/or financial services experience
