About the role
Responsibilities
- User research on how SoftPOS is used today, pain points of merchants, staff and customers
- Market research on where SoftPOS and payment terminals are heading
- Competitive benchmarking of qlub SoftPOS across features, UX and payment experience
- Gap analysis of the current product and opportunities for the new version
- Translate research findings into recommendations for the SoftPOS product and UX direction
Requirements
- Currently studying toward or recently graduated in business, product, design, engineering or related field
- Structured approach to research: scope, run and explain findings
- Fluent English
- Comfortable talking with merchants, staff and customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to payments, fintech, hospitality tech or high-growth marketplaces
- Familiarity with POS or payment terminal products, Figma, survey platforms or spreadsheets
- Local market knowledge or a second language relevant to the market
