Product Manager - Brokerage - EU

Responsibilities

• Own brokerage products tailored for EU markets, including equities, ETFs, and tax-wrapper accounts
• Drive brokerage product strategy by analyzing ROI, regional market competition, and regulatory requirements
• Build and execute the product roadmap with a focus on MiFID II / MiFIR-compliant features
• Write product requirements and work with engineers to execute programs that meet local regulatory and market standards
• Lead customer calls to gain insights and translate them into product improvements for EU clients
• Improve brokerage operation efficiency by providing solutions for regional settlement, custody, and clearing workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or starting a startup
• Demonstrated interest and experience in brokerage, capital markets, or fintech within the EU
• Strong understanding of MiFID II / MiFIR, ESMA, and the EU capital markets landscape
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Business acumen to understand tradeoffs between stakeholders and technology feasibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing brokerage products in EU markets
• Technical background working with APIs, particularly in financial services or trading platforms
• Familiarity with CSDR, EMIR, T2S, or CSD connectivity
• Hands-on experience shipping tax-wrapper or tax-reporting products
• Experience working with cross-border / passporting investment products
• Additional EU language(s) beyond English
• Experience working at a fintech, startup, or EU-authorized investment firm
