About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with senior level technical personnel and decision makers
- Demonstrate the value of product and service technology to advance customer business objectives
- Provide insight and thought leadership concerning applicability of complex products and services
- Act as a technical resource for the sales organization to meet and exceed objectives
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned to customer data, analytics, and AI transformation initiatives
- Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, and Heads of Data, Analytics, and AI
- Position modern data architectures including data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse models, and vector databases
- Articulate how Dell products enable AI applications through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Requirements
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in data management and analytics
- Experience with vendors such as Databricks, Snowflake, Denodo, Informatica, Teradata, or ScaleAI
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures (data lakes, lakehouse models, vector databases)
- Familiarity with data engineering, analytics, BI, and data science workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of related experience in a relationship selling role
- Bachelor's degree
