Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Ellucian ERP (Banner and/or Colleague) transformation programs, including on-premise to SaaS/cloud migrations
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program governance frameworks, including steering committees and executive reporting
• Coordinate multiple concurrent project workstreams, managing dependencies, risks, resources, and timelines
• Partner with institutional executives to establish program objectives and success metrics
• Monitor and manage multi-million-dollar program budgets and resource allocation
• Provide oversight of implementation teams to ensure consistent delivery methodologies
• Coach and mentor Project Managers within the PMO
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client executive sponsors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of experience leading large-scale ERP, SaaS, or enterprise software implementation programs in Higher Education
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-year transformation initiatives
• Direct experience with Ellucian Banner and/or Colleague ERP platforms
• Strong understanding of on-premise to SaaS/cloud migration methodologies
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar program budgets and financial reporting
• Ability to influence executive leadership (Presidents, Provosts, CIOs, etc.)
• Proficiency with project management tools like Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or Jira
• Willingness to travel to client campuses up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous higher education consulting experience
• PMP, PgMP, or related certifications
• Familiarity with Ellucian's Navigate to SaaS (N2S) methodology
• Master's degree in Business, IT, or Higher Education Administration
