Responsibilities
- Simultaneously serve multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs to evaluate and treat patients in crisis
- Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders
- Utilize a collaborative care approach within partner healthcare treatment teams
- Determine timely disposition and appropriate levels of care for vulnerable individuals
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
- Unrestricted, independent licensure
- Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
- Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups
- Experience treating patients in acute crisis in 24/7 settings
- Experience working with multiple EMRs simultaneously
- Advanced technical proficiency with Windows, Microsoft software, and telehealth hardware
- Ability to maintain a private office space for patient confidentiality
