About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide collaborative supervision for PMHNPs and other applicable APPs in accordance with California requirements and Tia clinical policies
- Conduct brief, recurring supervision touchpoints with assigned APPs
- Serve as a resource for clinical questions and complex cases
- Review cases or documentation when clinically indicated
- Partner with Tia clinical leadership to support safe, evidence-based psychiatric care
- Maintain required supervisory agreements and documentation
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted California physician license
- Active DEA registration
- Experience supervising, collaborating with, or providing clinical consultation to PMHNPs or other APPs
- Strong knowledge of outpatient psychiatric medication management and evidence-based mental health treatment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising APPs in a virtual or telehealth setting
- Experience in women's mental health, reproductive psychiatry, or integrated primary care
- Additional active state licenses, particularly New York or Arizona
- Experience working within a multi-state healthcare organization
