Psychology Teacher

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with American curriculum standards
• Foster critical thinking and a deep understanding of human behavior in students
• Utilize educational technology, including LMS and digital assessment tools, to enhance learning
• Interpret student data to monitor progress and inform differentiated instruction
• Manage classrooms to foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment
• Collaborate with the academic department on planning and professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or a closely related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of full-time teaching experience in Psychology at the high school level
• Demonstrated experience teaching the American curriculum and US standards
• Valid professional teaching license/certification in Secondary Education
• Proficiency in educational technology and Learning Management Systems
• Ability to meet UAE visa requirements and pass criminal background checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology or Education
• Experience with the Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology curriculum
• Previous experience in an international school setting, particularly in the UAE or Middle East
