Responsibilities
- Lead engagement with government bodies and officials across the Middle East regarding AI governance, safety, copyright, and privacy
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups
- Monitor, analyze, and advise on emerging regulations impacting the company
- Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry events to advance public policy goals
- Support the development of internal policies in collaboration with Legal, Safety, and Security teams
- Provide strategic counsel to leadership on regional policy trends
- Promote government adoption of ElevenLabs products in partnership with the GTM team
- Define and implement policy campaigns and impact initiatives
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in public and private sector policy roles, focusing on AI and tech
- Strong knowledge of regional AI policy, including governance, safety, copyright, and data protection
- Demonstrated success in designing and influencing policy outcomes and coalition building
- Public policy experience specifically across the UAE
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for briefing government officials
- Fluency in English and Arabic

- Proactive, solution-oriented approach to handling ambiguity
