Python Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for customer-facing applications
• Collaborate with front-end teams, product managers, and architects
• Ensure services are scalable, secure, and maintainable
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and agile planning

Requirements

• 3–5 years of backend development experience with Python
• Experience with REST APIs and Flask
• Understanding of microservices architecture and integration
• Familiarity with mypy or similar typing tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Preferred Qualifications

• Flask Blueprints for modular API design
• Protobufs and/or DynamoDB
• React exposure for cross-functional collaboration
