QA Lead

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall QA strategy, quality standards, and automation roadmap
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Security to define acceptance criteria and assess risks
• Own end-to-end quality planning and execution for product releases
• Establish scalable test automation frameworks and increase coverage
• Introduce quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
• Review test plans, automation code, and defect reports
• Identify and communicate product and release risks
• Define and monitor quality metrics
• Lead defect triage and root cause analysis
• Improve QA processes, tools, and documentation
• Champion shift-left testing

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in software quality assurance
• Proven experience leading and mentoring QA engineers in Agile environments
• Strong hands-on experience with mobile, web, backend, and API testing
• Expertise in test automation tools such as Appium or Selenium
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman and network debugging tools
• Proficiency in Java or another relevant programming language
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and security testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and release management
• Excellent analytical and risk-management skills
• Understanding of cryptocurrency or blockchain technology is highly advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing consumer-facing fintech or blockchain products
• Experience with mobile testing across iOS and Android
• Familiarity with blockchain transactions, smart contracts, and dApps
• Experience building or scaling a QA function in a distributed organization
