About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the company-wide Quality Engineering strategy, operating model and improvement roadmap
- Assess QA maturity across domains and prioritize high-impact improvements
- Define cross-domain standards for test architecture, coverage and release readiness
- Drive shift-left practices and risk-based quality gates across the SDLC
- Own QA toolchain and automation architecture, validated hands-on
- Lead cross-team investigations and root-cause analysis for critical incidents
- Establish quality metrics and develop QA Technical Leads
Requirements
- 8+ years in QA or Quality Engineering with multi-team technical leadership
- Experience defining QA strategy and large-scale transformations
- Strong programming skills for UI and backend automation, Python preferred
- Experience with distributed backend systems and REST APIs
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes and observability tools
- Good spoken and written English and Russian
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, crypto, payments or another regulated domain
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture and ledger-like systems
- Experience with contract, performance or resilience testing
