About the role
Responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax or mail
- Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room type and rate
- Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to callers
- Document special requests and answer questions about facilities and rooms
- Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Enter and access data in the reservation system and follow escalation procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience required
- Clear, professional communication and telephone etiquette
