About the role
Responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax or mail
- Identify guest needs, determine room type and verify availability and rate
- Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to callers
- Accommodate and document special requests and answer property questions
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and escalation procedures for guest concerns
- Input and access data in the reservation system, including special reservation codes
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No prior related work experience required
- Clear, professional spoken language and telephone etiquette
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds
