RCM Client Billing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the client billing process for diagnostic laboratory services
• Oversee the review and resolution of disputed, pending, and aging invoice balances
• Ensure invoices are managed in accordance with client and regulatory standards
• Partner with internal teams and external billing vendors to resolve complex issues
• Coordinate new client setup and pricing within billing software
• Monitor accounts receivable performance and operational metrics
• Lead, coach, and develop the Client Billing team
• Analyze invoice trends and implement process improvements
• Prepare regular reports on client activities and reimbursement trends
• Coordinate system implementations and upgrades related to billing workflows
• Develop and maintain client billing-related policies and procedures

Requirements

• Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience in laboratory billing, insurance claims, client billing, or revenue cycle management
• Strong understanding of insurance claim processes, healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and compliance requirements
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify root causes and resolve complex issues
• Advanced knowledge of service requirements, adjudication processes, dispute management, and reimbursement methodologies
