RCM Direct Billing Lead Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounts receivable activities for direct-billed employer clients, including cash application and payment matching.
• Monitor direct-bill AR aging, investigate discrepancies, and support collections activity.
• Research and respond to billing inquiries regarding invoice amounts, member counts, and credits.
• Partner with Finance, Product, and Client Success to resolve billing issues.
• Support reconciliation between Zuora, NetSuite, Athena, and related reporting systems.
• Review non-standard billing requests and document client-specific requirements.
• Prepare recurring AR aging and billing reports for RCM leadership.
• Recommend improvements to billing workflows and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or revenue cycle management.
• Experience in subscription, SaaS, PMPM, healthcare, or employer benefits billing environments.
• Working knowledge of cash application, AR aging, and account reconciliation.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Finance and Product teams.
• Proactive use of AI tools to improve efficiency.
