Regional Financial Controller

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across MENA entities
• Prepare and review management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow reports
• Maintain general ledger integrity, chart of accounts, and intercompany balances
• Lead regional statutory audits and coordinate financial statements
• Maintain short and medium-term cash flow forecasts and support liquidity decisions
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements across MENA
• Manage and develop a team of three finance professionals
• Optimize the use of NetSuite and automate finance processes

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with at least ten years of relevant finance experience
• Significant financial controllership experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments in the Middle East (UAE and Saudi Arabia)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, and tax compliance
• Essential experience in a project-based services business
• Ability to translate financial issues into straightforward actions for non-finance colleagues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in sports, entertainment, events, sponsorship, marketing, media, or agency sectors
• Practical experience using automation or AI tools to improve finance processes
• Arabic language skills
