REMIT SME/Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform current-state assessment and gap analysis of existing REMIT processes and controls
• Translate REMIT requirements into practical business and operational requirements, including governance and roles
• Assess consistency of REMIT implementation across locations and identify regulatory risks
• Partner with Front Office, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to define the target-state operating model
• Define and prioritise remediation actions and develop an implementation roadmap
• Review transaction and fundamental data reporting, market abuse controls, and disclosure obligations
• Produce documentation to support internal governance and audit reviews

Requirements

• Strong practical knowledge of REMIT and European energy/commodity market regulation
• Experience within energy and/or commodities trading and the trade lifecycle
• Demonstrable experience translating regulation into business processes and operating procedures
• Experience performing regulatory gap assessments and remediation programmes
• Strong Business Analysis capabilities, including process mapping and requirements gathering

Preferred Qualifications

• Working experience with Endur trading system and SCILA surveillance
• Knowledge of EMIR and other European transaction/regulatory reporting regimes
• Understanding of REMIT reporting processes and interaction with RRMs and ACER
• Experience working within Switzerland or supporting European cross-border operations
