About the role
Responsibilities
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail
- Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room types and rates
- Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
- Document and accommodate special guest requests
- Answer questions regarding property facilities, services, and room accommodations
- Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Input and access data within the reservation system
- Follow proper escalation procedures for guest concerns
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Ability to communicate using clear and professional language
