Reservation Agent

Responsibilities

• Support the Reservation Manager in enhancing the performance of the on-property reservations team.
• Ensure adherence to all operational SOPs and processes.
• Maintain and improve reservation operations to achieve high accuracy and maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Monitor daily arrivals and ensure guest requests are properly handled and communicated.
• Manage room inventory, allotments, group blocks, and rate codes using appropriate systems.
• Assist the Front Office Manager in driving upselling initiatives and ensuring effective utilization of all distribution channels (IBE, GDS, Tour Operators, Small Luxury Hotels, Regional and Corporate Sales Offices).

Requirements

• Familiarity with hotel operations technologies and distribution channels.
• Understanding of regional and local market dynamics.
• Awareness of local competitors and destination events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or hotel reservations roles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of inventory and rate management systems.
