Reservations Agent

Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail
• Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room types and rates
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
• Document and accommodate special guest requests
• Answer questions regarding property facilities, services, and accommodations
• Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue
• Input and access data within the reservation system
• Follow proper escalation procedures for guest concerns
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies
• Support team goals and maintain positive working relationships

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 10 pounds
• Professional communication skills and telephone etiquette
