About the role
Responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail
- Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room types and rates
- Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
- Document special requests and answer questions regarding property facilities and services
- Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Input and manage data within the reservation system
- Follow proper escalation procedures for guest concerns
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Support team goals and maintain positive working relationships
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Professional verbal communication skills
