Reservations Agent

Responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail
• Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room types and rates
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
• Document special requests and answer questions regarding property facilities and services
• Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue
• Input and manage data within the reservation system
• Follow proper escalation procedures for guest concerns
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Support team goals and maintain positive working relationships

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
• Professional verbal communication skills
