Reservations Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage individual room reservations via phone, email, booking channels, and website platforms
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of room types, availability, and hotel policies
• Review and verify booking details, payments, and special requests prior to arrival
• Process payments and handle documentation for advance purchase and corporate bookings
• Identify and communicate upselling opportunities such as room upgrades and dining experiences
• Support revenue strategy by analyzing booking patterns and optimizing conversion rates
• Drive direct bookings and maintain consistency across OTA platforms
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Revenue teams
• Maintain accurate rooming lists, billing instructions, and guest preferences

Requirements

• Excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer proficiency and typing accuracy
• Experience using reservation systems and booking platforms
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in email communication and multi-channel interaction
• Solid understanding of payment processing and billing procedures
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel reservations or front office operations
• Familiarity with OTA systems and revenue management principles
• Experience handling corporate or group bookings
• Multilingual abilities (Arabic and English preferred)
• Certification in hospitality customer service or reservation management
• Experience with specific hotel management software systems
