About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the reservations team during assigned shifts
- Monitor reservations system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints
- Manage shift scheduling, staffing levels, and workload distribution
- Train and mentor reservations agents on systems and procedures
- Analyze reservations data and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of transactions
- Ensure compliance with company protocols and data security standards
- Coordinate with other departments to manage guest services
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in reservations management or hospitality customer service
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
- Advanced proficiency with reservations management systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple properties or international operations
- Training and mentoring experience with team development focus
- Familiarity with revenue management principles
