About the role
Responsibilities
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail
- Identify guest needs and determine appropriate room types and rates
- Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
- Document special requests and answer questions regarding property facilities
- Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Input and access data within the reservation system accurately
- Follow proper escalation procedures for guest concerns
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies and confidentiality standards
- Welcome guests according to luxury service standards and anticipate service needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Ability to communicate using clear and professional language
- Ability to move, lift, or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop positive working relationships
