About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead the dining service to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests
- Train, mentor, and supervise front-of-house staff
- Assist in crafting and updating the menu with seasonal items
- Engage with guests and manage feedback professionally
- Ensure the dining area meets hygiene and safety standards
- Oversee reservations and seating arrangements
- Monitor and manage service inventory levels
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for accurate service
- Prepare reports on service performance and financial metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Captain in Western or European dining
- Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and wine pairings
- Outstanding leadership and team-building skills
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Effective communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
