Restaurant Captain

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise front-of-house staff to provide outstanding guest service
• Manage seating arrangements and reservations efficiently to optimize dining flow
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and tact
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety in the dining area
• Train and mentor team members to adhere to service protocols and company policies
• Monitor inventory related to service items and communicate needs to management
• Prepare regular reports on service performance and guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Captain or similar supervisory role in hospitality
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
• Exceptional communication skills in English
• Flexible availability for various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with Dubai’s hospitality standards preferred
