Job description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and file annual Form 5500 returns and all related schedules
  • Conduct annual nondiscrimination testing including ADP/ACP, top-heavy, and coverage
  • Interpret and apply ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations to retirement plans
  • Coordinate with plan sponsors, auditors, and consultants to resolve compliance issues
  • Consult on plan designs
  • Maintain accurate records of filings and compliance testing results
  • Stay current with regulatory updates and communicate changes to the team

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in ERISA compliance, Non-Discrimination Testing, and Form 5500 preparation
  • Experience with FT William software in both compliance and 5500 modules
  • Experience with PensionPro or other pension related platforms
  • In-depth understanding of IRS and DOL regulations related to qualified plans
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASPPA or CEBS designation (QKA, QPA, or CPC)
