Revenue Cycle Consultant, Procedural

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day tasks related to clinical revenue management and charge capture projects
• Deliver high-quality analysis and process improvement strategies to enhance revenue cycle efficiency
• Perform account reviews comparing clinical documentation to billing outcomes
• Collaborate with client leadership to improve and streamline charge capture processes
• Focus on Perioperative Services, Invasive Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a health-related field (MBA, MHA, or MPH highly desirable)
• 3-5 years of deep healthcare experience, ideally in radiology, cardiology, perioperative services, or nursing
• Previous experience in professional services or consulting
• Expertise in hospital revenue cycle management and charge capture
• Clinical credentials or certifications (e.g., BSN, CCS, CPC, RHIA, or project management certification)
• Must hold or plan to acquire CIRCC or CNOR credential within 1 year
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Exceptional financial and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Up to 20% travel to client sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge capture and coding experience
• Clinical experience within Perioperative Services, Invasive Cardiology, or Interventional Radiology
• Knowledge of specialty supplies and implants (e.g., catheters, stents, mesh, surgical hardware)
