Revenue Cycle Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process Medicaid and Medicare insurance billing and collections per policy
• Review, verify, and submit insurance claims
• Follow up with insurers and resubmit claims that receive no response
• Handle claim rejections and file appeals for maximum reimbursement
• Answer telephones and resolve billing and collection issues
• Maintain billing records for reference and audit

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of insurance AR and post-claim follow-up experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the medical insurance industry
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and similar applications
• Strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Payment posting experience
• Physician claim billing experience
