Risk Control Principal Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for fiat and payment risk control systems, including transaction monitoring and fraud detection
• Design and iterate on rule engines, decision flows, risk tiering, holds and releases
• Define risk parameters and balance risk coverage against user friction
• Design high-concurrency, low-latency controls across fiat on/off-ramp, card and payment risk
• Use AI to reduce blockers in risk control flows and guide users through verification
• Produce PRDs and lead prototype design and delivery with Technology, Data, Compliance and Operations
• Define metrics and drive data-based iteration, back-testing and A/B validation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of risk control product design experience
• Led complete risk control product design and launch projects
• Solid understanding of fraud and AML mechanisms, rule engines and transaction monitoring
• Familiarity with card schemes, bank transfers, chargebacks and payment fraud typologies
• SQL and Python for data analysis
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a crypto exchange, bank, payment company or fintech
• Knowledge of AML regulatory frameworks (FATF, MiCA, PSD2)
• Mandarin language skills
