About the role
Responsibilities
- Research legal issues and policy solutions on clean energy and grid reform
- Support regulatory interventions before state Public Utilities Commissions
- Analyze federal and state laws on clean energy, transmission and emissions
- Assist with clean energy procurement analysis and advocacy
- Meet with policymakers and attend public meetings as assigned
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school
- Completed at least one full year of law school in good standing
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills
- Interest in environmental, energy, administrative or public-interest law preferred
Benefits
- Stipend of up to $8,000-$13,000 for a full-time-level fellowship
- Fully remote with possible in-person connections near Acadia Center offices
