Rust Runtime & Developer Tooling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and ship deterministic WASM-compatible runtime modules with host functions and gas metering
• Build a Rust contract SDK, cargo-level CLI and client SDKs
• Wire the toolchain into DevHub with templates, examples and versioned releases
• Work with DevRel on docs and sample contracts
• Add CI benchmarks for execution hot paths and fuzz the host interface and contract ABI

Requirements

• Public Rust code you wrote, linked from a GitHub/GitLab profile, crates.io or merged PRs
• Production Rust: ownership, lifetimes, macros, traits, async
• Experience inside a VM, interpreter, runtime or compiler
• Published or maintained a library, SDK or CLI used by other developers
• Cross-compilation (wasm32, aarch64) and CI pipelines that build, test and release Rust

Preferred Qualifications

• Contributions to ink!/cargo-contract, CosmWasm, wasmtime, wasmer, revm, Stylus, Anchor, Sway or Move
• Gas metering, deterministic execution or sandboxing design
• TypeScript SDK experience or adopted API design
• A public crate, talk, blog post or design doc
