Sales Executive – Events

Responsibilities

• Own and qualify event enquiries for meetings, conferences, training and social celebrations
• Create proposals covering venue, catering, audiovisual and guestroom needs
• Quote in line with approved rates and upsell packages and services
• Conduct venue showrounds and needs-assessment meetings with clients
• Prepare contracts, deposits and payment milestones with Finance
• Hand over confirmed events to Event Planning and hotel departments
• Develop repeat business and referrals with corporate and social clients
• Keep forecast, conversion and enquiry status current in designated systems

Requirements

• About 1-3 years in hotel events, banqueting, MICE or venue sales
• Working knowledge of proposals, banquet packages and contracts
• Strong customer-service mindset and commercial instinct
• Excellent coordination and attention to detail
• Fluent professional English, spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional languages
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with hotel sales, events or CRM systems
