About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure sales channels follow controlled work streams with due compliance and standards
- Monitor agencies involved in sales activity for performance, practices and effectiveness
- Perform checks and validations to assess process adherence and sales practices
- Conduct periodic inspections and investigate non-compliance or control weaknesses
- Monitor key risk indicators and conduct risk and control assessments
- Monitor lead management for fairness, duplication and unauthorized access
- Create dashboards, guidelines and reports on control performance and compliance
- Support GIA and 2nd LOD recommendations and monitor corrective action plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, law, finance or related field
- 7+ years in retail banking, back-end operations, QA, governance, compliance or risk
- Strong understanding of banking operations, internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations and risks
- Excellent problem solving and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and team player
- MS Office skills
- Willingness to travel within the UAE

- Expertise in banking software and applications
