About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by selling event space, rooms, and F&B outlets
- Grow G&C, incentive, corporate groups, and exhibition room nights
- Build and maintain professional relationships with unit management and clients
- Deliver and drive strategies for MICE segments
- Participate in department budgeting and forecasting
- Set sales targets and plan towards achieving goals
- Conduct site visits and inspections for current and future clients
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and follow up on outstanding requests
- Analyze client and market information to compile reports and recommendations
- Collaborate with Executive Chef and F&B Director on menus and pricing
- Attend networking events and make external sales calls
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel
- Relevant qualification in Sales & Marketing, Events, or Hotel Management
- Strong business acumen and target-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with Micros, FMC, Opera, or other hotel operating systems
- Valid driver's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be available in Abu Dhabi
