Salesforce Architect or Senior Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components
• Produce durable technical deliverables such as architecture documentation
• Write SOQL against a custom object model representing the full path money takes through the system
• Make informed decisions on solution trade-offs regarding scalability and maintainability
• Translate business needs into technical specifications
• Predict and prevent platform and API limit issues and integration failure modes
• Take a lead role in system security and data compliance
• Partner with existing senior technical lead on technical direction
• Mentor team members on technical skills and review technical work
• Implement and advocate for DevOps best practices using Gearset and IntelliJ
• Serve as the team's release manager
• Contribute to AI-enabled development workflows

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development with ownership of Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
• Expert-level platform knowledge and design patterns
• Experience running complex projects end-to-end in environments with significant business process complexity
• DevOps fluency including sandbox-to-production deployment and pipeline tooling
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) and Platform Developer I (PD1)

Preferred Qualifications

• Platform Developer II (PD2) or architect-level certifications
• Experience in mission-driven, philanthropic, or nonprofit space
• Third-party integration experience with Airtable, Zapier, FormAssembly, Fillout, or Ironclad
