About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform SAP Basis administration across SAP environments
- Manage SAP system installation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and system maintenance
- Monitor SAP system performance, availability, and health
- Manage SAP transports, jobs, users, RFCs, interfaces, and system connectivity
- Handle SAP system copies, refreshes, backups, and recovery activities
- Troubleshoot SAP technical and performance issues
- Design and maintain SAP Security roles and authorizations
- Manage user provisioning, role assignments, access requests, and authorization concepts
- Perform SAP Security audits and support compliance requirements
- Identify and resolve authorization issues and security risks
- Support SAP GRC processes where applicable
- Work with functional and technical teams to ensure secure and stable SAP operations
- Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation projects when required
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in SAP Basis
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Security and Authorizations
- Experience managing SAP landscapes across DEV, QA, and Production
- Strong knowledge of SAP user administration, roles, profiles, authorizations, RFCs, transports, and system monitoring
- Experience with SAP HANA administration is preferred
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred
- Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control is an advantage
- Experience with SAP cloud environments is an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Mandatory: Valid SAP Cloud certification (preferably related to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, or SAP Cloud Technology)
- Candidate must provide the certification name and certificate/credential ID
What we look for
