About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability management program via Bug Bounty triage and remediation
- Conduct comprehensive threat modeling with engineering teams
- Manage security incident response and penetration testing results
- Optimize security infrastructure including WAF updates
- Drive security tool evaluation and implementation
- Provide security consultation and guidance to development teams
- Maintain security awareness and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in web application security
- Demonstrated expertise with Burp Suite or equivalent tools
- Strong written communication skills in English
- Experience working in fully distributed/remote team environments
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing or participating in Bug Bounty programs
- Programming experience in PHP or JavaScript
- Experience with penetration testing methodologies
- Knowledge of SIEM platforms and security monitoring systems
- Familiarity with WAF configuration and management
- Understanding of secure SDLC practices
- Experience with Jira
